What we do

The Children’s Community Nursing Service (CCNS) consists of a team of experienced Specialist Children’s Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Advanced Support Workers who provide holistic hands-on care and support to children and young people in the community from birth to 18 (or 19 years if in a special school). We provide care and treatment for children and young people with a nursing need, as well as oncology, palliative and end of life care, working in partnership with children, parents, carers, specialist hospitals, local hospitals and other professionals offering highly skilled nursing support.
